About
Greycrest Visuals Inc. is a video production and photography company based in Burnaby, British Columbia. We produce brand story films, client testimonial videos, services explainer videos, promotional and commercial video, event videography, documentary films, and corporate photography for government bodies, health authorities, universities, nonprofits, and enterprise organizations across Canada.
What We Do
We help organizations communicate what they do, who they serve, and why it matters — to the people who need to understand it before they will trust them, fund them, hire them, or work alongside them.
That sounds straightforward. In practice it requires more than a camera and a crew. It requires a clear brief, a well-developed interview framework, an editorial approach that builds narrative from real moments rather than scripted talking points, and a production process that respects the communication standards and approval requirements of the environments our clients work in.
We have built Greycrest Visuals around that kind of production. We do not make generic corporate video. We make communications that work.
Why Greycrest Visuals
Most video production companies are built around the gear, the edit, and the aesthetic. We are built around the communication objective.
The question we ask at the start of every project is not what do you want the video to look like. It is what do you need the audience to understand, feel, or do after watching it. That question determines everything that follows — the format, the structure, the interview approach, the editing decisions, and the delivery.
We work with institutional and organizational clients who operate in environments where communication accuracy, accessibility compliance, and stakeholder approval processes matter. We understand those environments. We plan for them. And we deliver to the standards they require.
Who We Serve
Our clients include federal departments, provincial ministries, Crown corporations, municipalities, regional health authorities, hospitals, public health agencies, universities and colleges, registered charities and foundations, and enterprise organizations across Canada.
We also serve professional services firms, coaching and consulting businesses, trades companies, fitness and wellness organizations, and any business whose value is difficult to communicate in writing and whose clients have stories worth telling on camera.
Our Approach
We start with the brief.
Every production begins with a detailed brief. We do not begin pre-production until we understand the communication objective, the target audience, the intended publication channels, the timeline, and any constraints specific to your organization or sector. A clear brief is the foundation of a production that works.
We develop the story before we develop the schedule.
For interview-based productions, we invest time developing the interview framework before the camera turns on. We do not hand subjects a list of questions and hope for the best. We understand their experience, identify the moments that will carry the narrative, and prepare them to speak naturally and credibly on camera.
We plan the filming day in detail.
Production days are planned with a full shot list, confirmed locations, coordinated access, and a crew plan that matches the scope of the project. We minimize disruption to your team and operations. We do not wing it.
We edit around what works.
Our editing process begins with the footage, not with a template. We identify the moments that carry the most clarity and weight, build the structure around those moments, and layer supporting visual material to deepen the story. We deliver review cuts through an online platform that allows timestamped feedback, and we revise within the scope agreed at the start of the project.
We deliver to your standards.
Every production includes closed captions as a standard deliverable. Transcripts, open captions, and audio description are available on request. For government and public sector clients, we deliver to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and to any technical specifications required by your publication platform.
The Founder
Greycrest Visuals was founded by Emmanuel Wani, who serves as Founder and Creative Director. Emmanuel leads every client engagement from brief through delivery, bringing a background in competitive athletics, personal training, and community leadership alongside his production experience.
Prior to incorporating Greycrest Visuals Inc. in 2026, Emmanuel operated a video production sole proprietorship for seven years, working with businesses across Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Greycrest Visuals represents a deliberate repositioning toward the institutional and government market, with the procurement credentials, production standards, and sector experience to serve it.
The name Greycrest draws on Acholi and Ugandan heritage, reflecting Emmanuel’s identity and his approach to brand naming — grounded, intentional, and distinct.
