Greycrest Visuals provides corporate and institutional photography from our base in Burnaby, British Columbia, for organizations across Metro Vancouver, Greater Victoria, and Canada. Photography is a primary service offered alongside video production, not a secondary offering.

Why Corporate Photography Matters

An organization's photography communicates something before a single word is read. Poor photography undermines the credibility of everything around it. Strong photography does not call attention to itself. It simply makes the organization look like what it is.

Executive and Team Headshots

A headshot taken five years ago, in a different role, at a different organization, is not serving the person or the organization it is currently representing.

We produce executive and team headshots that are current, consistent across a team, and appropriate for the contexts in which they will be used, including websites, LinkedIn profiles, media kits, annual reports, conference speaker bios, and internal directories.

For individual headshots, we work with one subject at a time and invest enough time in the session to produce images that feel natural and authoritative rather than stiff or reluctant.

For team headshots, we develop a consistent setup and move efficiently through a roster of subjects to minimize time away from work and maintain visual consistency across the entire team.

Event Photography

Event photography at institutional and organizational events produces communications assets for post-event reports, social media content, donor and funder communications, media releases, and future event promotion.

Workplace and Facility Photography

Effective workplace photography requires an understanding of what the organization wants to communicate about its environment and its culture, and a plan for how to capture that within the constraints of a real working space during a real working day.

Campaign Photography

Campaign photography produces still images specifically designed to support a defined communications campaign. It is closer to commercial photography in its approach, meaning planned, controlled, and executed against a brief, while remaining grounded in the real people and real environments of the organization.

Image Licensing and Delivery

The images Greycrest produces for an organizational client are licensed for the client's use within the scope agreed at the brief stage. Standard licensing covers use across the client's owned channels without a defined expiry for the agreed uses.

Timelines

Headshot sessions can typically be scheduled within one to two weeks. Edited images from a headshot session are typically delivered within five to seven business days of the shoot.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many images do we receive from a corporate photography session?

A standard executive headshot session for one subject typically delivers ten to twenty edited images. A full-day workplace photography shoot may deliver sixty to one hundred edited images.

Do you shoot on location or in a studio?

Both. Location shooting is generally more efficient for team headshot days and workplace photography.

What is included in standard image retouching?

Standard retouching for executive headshots includes skin smoothing, blemish removal, and colour correction. We do not significantly alter a subject's appearance beyond what the subject would recognize as themselves.
